Beekeeping 101 Illinois Extension
Thank you to all who attended the University of Illinois Extension in Murphysboro, Bee Keeping 101!

Kenny Fischer, a beekeeper from Arrowhead Apiary, shared his knowledge and experience in Beekeeping 101. The discussion covered essential aspects to consider before getting bees, how to obtain and maintain bees, where to keep them, how to care for them, and how to harvest honey.

Additionally, Maggie Ray from the University of Illinois Extension was present to inform attendees about the services and programs offered by their local extension office.

This program would not be possible without the generous support of the Transition to Organic Partnership Program. The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) exists to provide technical assistance and wrap-around support for transitioning and existing organic farmers.
