Kenny Fischer, a beekeeper from Arrowhead Apiary, will share his knowledge and experience in Beekeeping 101. The discussion will cover essential aspects to consider before getting bees, how to obtain and maintain bees, where to keep them, how to care for them, and how to harvest honey.
Additionally, Maggie Ray from the University of Illinois Extension will be present to inform attendees about the services and programs offered by their local extension office.
