The Food Works Mobile Farmers Market connects communities across Southern Illinois with locally grown, nutritious food. As a mobile operation, we can travel to surrounding towns where grocery stores or farmers markets aren’t currently available and bring fresh produce to our neighbors who need it. We serve communities of all income levels and we accept cash, cards, and SNAP.

We are thrilled to help connect our local area farmers with new customers in new locations, and in turn, offer our Mobile Market shoppers a wide variety of items to taste and experience. Our truck is stocked with locally grown produce and small-batch goods from over 25 farms and makers in the area. Everything we showcase is super-local and sourced from within 100 miles of our home base in Carbondale, IL.
